Newbury Waterways Festival - Sunday 25th July 2010
The Newbury branch of the Kennet & Avon Canal Trust proudly organises the Newbury Waterways Festival each year, normally on the last Sunday of July. The event takes place in Victoria Park and at The Wharf. Over twenty boats assemble for the event and the Park becomes packed with stalls, sideshows, live entertainment and refreshment outlets. The day culminates with a 1000-strong plastic duck race along the river. Make sure this date is in your diary and come along to enjoy a day beside the River Kennet in the heart of Newbury!
